The kind of commitment needed

Posted 22 Feb 2012 by KeepCup in Sustainability | 0 comments

This is the sort of commitment we are after, shoes off, arms out, big dive.

Cushman & Wakefield is a privately held commercial real estate services firm.  It has 230 offices in 60 countries and more than 15,000 employees so it has a significant opportunity to make a positive contribution to a better and more sustainable environment.  It is an opportunity they are taking seriously and engaging people along the way.

Eco Buy Green Supplier of the Year

Posted 4 Jun 2011 by KeepCup in Sustainability | 0 comments

We are thrilled to announce we just won the ECO-Buy Green Supplier of the Year.

ECO-Buy is not for profit Centre of Excellence in Environmental Purchasing, established to encourage the purchasing of environmentally preferable products and services.

In the words of ECO-Buy:

The KeepCup reusable coffee cup has helped transform the take away coffee experience since its release in 2009. It was the first re-usable cup to address a range of usability considerations lacking in other products. Since then the KeepCup has become a behaviour change icon, popular with ECO-Buy Members who value its contribution to waste reduction, potential for customisation, quality, and the fabulous team behind it.

We love bikes

Posted 7 Feb 2011 by KeepCup in Sustainability | 4 comments

We love bikes at KeepCup, but more importantly we love riding them. Good for the lungs, good for the heart, good for the community feel of a city.

Lots of our staff ride to work, we use "cargone" couriers for local Melbourne deliveries and you will be pleased to know that the KeepCup can be used in lots of standard bike bottle holders.
